Interactive Facebook Panorama
Illumination Entertainment approached our team with the challenge of debuting the key art character posters for their new film ( and soon to be smash hit) SING. I came up with the concept to lay them out in a ultra-wide canvas and let users explore them at their own pace in a single ‘room.’ This was achieved by inserting panoramic metadata into the exports that tells Facebook to let users look around as if it was an iPhone panoramic photograph.
The clients, and more importantly, the fans, were eager to poke around the scrolling scenes. Both are still live and available to explore today!
